Beyond2015 has acquired tic.co.tz, the former domain of the Tanzania Investment Center (which is now operating under tic.go.tz). The official acquisition date is July 30, 2022.

About tic.co.tz

Tic.co.tz was the official domain name of the Tanzania Investment Center between 2002 and 2018, an agency of the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade in Tanzania for "attracting quality investments for sustainable economic development". According to their mission statement, they "coordinate, promote and facilitate investments in Tanzania and advise the Government on policy matters in order to create a competitive, attractive and sustainable investment climate."

Why did the acquisition happen?

Beyond2015.org is known for offering valuable resources about sustainable investing for less developed countries like India, Indonesia and Brazil. Opening a new division in Africa is the company's next step to increase its reader base related to investing and online trading.

As Forbes Africa highlights, "by June 2020, Forex trading had increased by a whopping 477% (...) and Africa has proven itself to be the next frontier of crypto and Forex trading."

It's not a surprise that popular brokers like IQ Option, Olymp Trade and Binomo are already present in most African countries, and many other investment platforms offering regular CFD trading or even more complex services like managed Forex accounts are shifting their attention toward this territory.
